My name is Maria Villarreal.
I'm a Creative Strategist, Art Director, and Creative Producer based in Mexico—though always ready to travel. I love exploring new places, connecting with people from different cultures, and using my creative skills to collaborate across borders. I’m constantly looking for new opportunities to grow, share, and create meaningful work around the world.
Over the last decade, I’ve helped brands across tech, lifestyle, and e-commerce translate strategy into compelling visual content—leading creative from concept through production and final delivery. From launching off-road gear to rebranding global companies, I’ve built campaigns that balance performance with craft. I collaborate closely with motion designers, developers, 3D artists, and marketing teams to bring ideas to life across digital platforms (and sometimes the real world too).
I love working where insight meets intuition—developing creative strategies that not only look good but move the needle.
Beyond the screen, you’ll find me exploring color in nature, adjusting my coffee grind, reading about color psychology, or wandering through forests sniffing trees (yes, really). I paint, chase golden-hour light, and happily greet every dog I meet. Also a big fan of retro video games and board game marathons on rainy days.
